Studio Classes

Santa Fe Dog Studio

Santa Fe Dog is in a clean, comfortable, 1,900 sq ft. studio at 1807 Second Street, Ste #42, Santa Fe, NM 87505. All classes will take place at the Santa Fe studio location.

Directions - From Second St. turn into the parking lot in front of Cloud 5 and drive down the row until you see a parking lot on the left. Park anywhere in the lot. Look for the Santa Fe Dog #42 signage on the walls on the left (blue planters in front).

If the class you wanted is marked FULL, fill out the Contact Us form and write "WAIT LIST" with the name of the class in the text box at the bottom of the form. 

After registering, you will have the option to pay online with credit card. Visit the payment page if you've already registered for classes and only need to pay.

ALL NEW AND RETURNING CLIENT MUST COMPLETE A REGISTRATION FORM FOR EACH NEW SESSION. Please note new classes being offered and updated fees for some sessions.

ALL DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. CHANGES WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN CLASS.

Foundations A & B (ages 6 months & up)

Two-part foundations class to learn consistency and build good habits with your new pup.

Part B will cover wait, stay, & sit; loose-leash walking; meet & greet; leave it and more.

Part A: Saturdays from 11 am - noon (5 weeks/orientation + 4 classes)

  • No prerequisite
  • Dates: Jul 11 (1st class is orientation, humans only), 18, 25, Aug 1, & 8
  • Class fee: $275

Part B dates: Saturdays from 11 am - noon (4 weeks, no orientation).

  • Prerequisite: Must complete Foundations A to attend.
  • Dates: Aug 22, 29, (skip Sep 5), Sept 12, 19
  • Class fee: $220

Novice Rally-O (leash handling skills)

Leash handling skills, defensive dog walking skills, benefits of long leads, and intro to Rally-O games. With a focus on fun and practical skills, you will learn to navigate together more smoothly on leash, including skills like return to heel and leash safety maneuvers. Humans and dogs gain confident communication skills.

  • Prerequisite: Basic level or conversation with the instructor.
  • Dates: Saturdays from 1:15-2:15 pm (6 weeks/no orientation)
  • Ongoing dates (registration closed): May 23, 30, Jun 6, 13, 20, & 27
  • New Dates (open for registration) Jul 11, 18, 25, Aug 1, 8, & 15
  • Class fee: $310

Novice Rally-O Level 2

Now that you and your dog know the signs and behaviors, we will take it to the next level by polishing it up and playing with courses and sequencing. Intermediate signs will be incorporated as the class progresses.

  • Prerequisite: Handler and dog should be able to heel 20 feet and recognize 85% of the novice signs, otherwise please take Rally intro as a refresher.
  • Class Fee: $285 including tax
  • Dates: Saturdays from 3-4 pm (6 weeks)
  • Ongoing Dates (registration closed): May 23, 30, Jun 6, 13, 20, & 27
  • New Dates (registration open): Jul 11, 18, 25, Aug 1, 8, & 15

Masters & Choice Rally-O

Class is full / register with permission of the instructor only.

Class alternates between Rally-O Intermediate and agility handling or Fenzi T.E.A.M 1 and 2 modules. Instructor's choice.

  • Prerequisite: This class is for dedicated handlers. Please contact Deborah Tolar for more information.
  • Class Fee: $285 including tax
  • Dates: Saturdays from 4:30-5:30 pm (6 weeks)

Beginner Agility

Register with permission of instructor only.

Introduction to agility obstacles, safety, and groundwork. Bring your own crate - required for class.

  • Prerequisite: Intro to Dog Sports or permission by instructor.
  • Class Fee: $285 including tax
  • Dates: Sundays from 11:30-12:30 pm
  • Ongoing (registration closed): May 31, Jun 7, 14, 21, 28, & Jul 5

Intermediate Agility

Class is full / register with permission of the instructor only

  • Dates: Mondays at 4:30-5:30 p.m
